I expected so much better from a Corolla with wind deflectors.
This is why half the cars in NYC metro have a bumper bully or similar.

“It was just a little tap.” There are many people who park using the Braille Method. I don’t think it was an accident she hit the car.

I seem to recall seeing videos of nightmare parking in other countries where this sort of thing is acceptable, but certainly NOT in the US. That said, sometimes I miss old cars with their steel & rubber bumpers. At least with those, you could give a gentle nudge without scratching any paint.

I expect nothing less than that from a Corolla.
On the Highway who’s in the fast lane slowing everyone down? A Toyota
Who stops when ever they turn even when they have a flashing green? A Toyota
I know Not all Toyotas....

The perfect thing to do here would have been to leave a note on the victim’s car with the plate number of the offender and an email address to write so they could send the dashcam footage.
“It’s just a little tap.” As if that makes it okay? Apparently only damaging another person’s car a little bit is just fine.

This is not out of the ordinary in NYC, sad to say. It’s why everyone has bumper badger guards on the back and bumpshox bumper protectors in the front.
